Offering incentives for green innovation

Nature Counts does not insist on any specific method. As an incentive for innovation, we allow growers complete freedom to develop their own ideas.The Nature Counts label is awarded to growers who achieve the best results with their own ideas. Meet the growers.

Independent jury

A jury of scientists and professionals annually select the front-runners in sustainability. This select group of growers are entitled to use the label for three years. Meet the seven members of the jury.

Aardbeibedrijf Loos

Loos Strawberry Growers is a sustainable greenhouse company. Its gas tap became redundant in autumn 2011 and thanks to combined heat and power (CHP), Loos produces biogas that generates power and heat for the company and the surrounding area. Waste products are ingeniously recycled. In addition the company does not use groundwater or drinking water.
