Suzanne van de Pijl is assistant director at Schuttelaar & Partners, a communication consultancy that creates a support base for innovations in food, health and sustainability. She is also vice-chairman of the board of the SKAL and member of the Supervisory Board of the Club of Rome in the Netherlands.
When reviewing the applications for Nature Counts, Suzanne van der Pijl pays particular attention to the story behind the innovation. She asks questions such as, how innovative is the idea, does it fit with the company, and how does it benefit society?
In her everyday life, Suzanne van der Pijl makes the usual green choices. She cycles or travels by train when she can, has compact fluorescent light bulbs and uses green energy.
