The Greenery would like to announce the addition of Dr Stephan Peters to the assessment panel for the ‘Nature Counts’ sustainability initiative. Stephan Peters will now be part of the panel that assesses candidates twice a year who wish to be part of The Greenery’s Nature Counts sustainability initiative.
Food safety
Dr Stephan Peters works for the Netherlands Nutrition Centre, an independent organisation that provides information to consumers regarding safe and healthy eating, as well as food quality. As a Food Safety and Quality specialist, Dr Peters focuses on chemical food safety and the monitoring of scientific developments.
In addition to his work at the Nutrition Centre, Stephan Peters is also a board member of Food Compass, which carries out independent national residue research for companies that work according to the hygiene code for unsliced fresh vegetables and mushrooms.
With his broad knowledge in the field of food safety and sustainability, Stephen Peters is a valuable addition to the Nature Counts panel. He will conduct substantive assessments of the initiatives, and look at how they reach consumers.
